The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is an intimate state -of-the-art community performing theatre on the East End of Long Island in the western portion of the Hamptons. The 400+ seat theatre brings in some of the top head-linging acts to our little community. Here is a list of what is going on in the month of December for the holidays. Saturday, November 27 - George Winston
8pm. Winston's solo piano concert features a variety of styles, including melodic folk piano, stride piano, R&B and Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts pieces. His work has been described as "pastoral wonders that purposefully evoke nature and landscapes in a way that's as understated as it is beautiful." In concert, Winston will perform songs from his new CD as well as selections from his seasonal favorites AUTUMN, DECEMEBER, WINTER INTO SPRING and SUMMER.
Monday, December 6 - "Wired"
2 performances - 10am and 12:30pm. Part of the WHBPAC School Day Performances series. Damien is unnoticed in his cliquish grade, and that's just what this shy self-proclaimed "goof" prefers. He is transformed into a cooler version of himself through online role-playing games, social networking sites, and a multitude of virtual friends. But when Damien has a seemingly innocent run-in with a girl at school, he finds himself in the cross-hairs of a humiliating cyber-bullying campaign. In a time of constantly being wired in, this new play examines the alarming rise of cyber-bullying - where cruelty can be administered instantaneously and anonymously.

Sunday, December 12 - "Leo Lionni's Swimmy, Frederick and Inch by Inch"
This production is drawn from Leo Lionni's exquisitely crafted Caldecott Honor books. Swimmy is a tiny fish who uses ingenuity to fend off danger. Frederick, a poetic mouse, makes everyday life an artful experience. A lovable inchworm shares his facility for measuring absolutely everything. Along with the gentle storytelling style of Mermaid Theatre, this show features an assortment of innovative puppetry styles and imaginative lighting techniques, as well as an original musical score. Ages 3 - 8
Friday, December 17 - The Nutcracker "Sweet"
This children's ballet tells the beloved tale of Clara, who takes a magical journey to the Land of Sweets alongside her Nutcracker Prince! Starring 30 local children and professional dancers.
Friday, December 31 - Gregg Allman
Celebrate New Year's Eve with Rock n' Roll Hall of Famer Gregg Allman and his band! As founding member of the iconic Allman Brothers Band, Gregg and his brother ignited the Southern Rock genre. A natural artist gifted with a soulful and distinctive voice as well as brilliant keyboard and guitar expertise, Allman's unique, freewheeling yet musically masterful sound is legendary!
