The View Outside My Window...

As much as I love working, living and playing in the

Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex

area, I still love to break away from time to time and travel.

This Thanksgiving weekend was no exception.

For the past few days, I've had the wonderful opportunity

to enjoy some sun and sand on the

beaches of sunny south Florida.

And every day I got to look out my window

and wake up to this view...

Craig Rutman, your Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area Realtor enjoys the view outside his Florida beach condo!

 You just have to
love the beach!

But all good things must come to an end, and tomorrow

I begin the trek back home.

It's back to work on Monday, a closing on Tuesday,

and a listing appointment on Wednesday.

I might just need another vacation!

Oh man...I actually stared at that palm tree a few moments and realized that I really want to be at the BEACH!

Joan - That beach is VERY peaceful and quiet. My family on the other hand is not!

James - The temps were twice that where I was!

Karen - Snow is good......if you're an Eskimo! I'll take the beach over the cold any day of the week!

Rhonda - Batteries are recharged and I'm ready to tackle the tasks at hand.

John - Thank you John. I hope you had a little time off for the holiday to relax as well.

Wanda - Warm. Relaxing. Fun. I was able to get it all in this time around.

Mary - NC beaches, as beautiful as they are, are cold this time of year. But where I was in Florida, even the ocean was still warm enough to go in and enjoy.

Anita - Relax and recharge! That was the mission and it was accomplished!

Ellie - I'm ready to close out the year on a strong note.

Charita - Even though I got home late last night, I'm up and ready to tackle the day's tasks.

Amy - Well rested and recharged! That was the mission and it was accomplished!

Roger - No worries about CRW my friend! I'm back and ready for the Rain! Hope you had a great holiday.

Dorie - Thank you Dorie. I hope you and Gene had a nice holiday too.

Richard - No Photoshop here my friend. That's the actual view!

Al & Peggy - I had to look up that song, and had I known about it, it would have been very appropriate!

Charles - Don't be jealous my friend. I'd give anything to be in my mid 20's again. Oh, wait. You were talking about the temperature where you are? Never mind!!!

Ed - We did get more than our share here last year. I am not looking forward to the winter!

Georgina - You live in Maui. That's your view every day Georgina! And, yes, it makes it hard to go back to work.

Cal - You're welcome Cal. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving.

Pat - A closing the day before Thanksgiving? Now that's something to be thankful for!

Larry - All work and no play makes Larry......rich!

Chris - Our FL AR friends are living that view. So is Georgina (comment #18) who lives in Maui!

Jim - Vent away Jim. Feel better now?!!!

Marc - Ha! Ha! Ha! If only!

Laura - Thanks Laura! The only thing better in my view is Snookie wasn't in the picture!

Larry & Sheila - Thanks guys. One of the reasons I moved down south was to escape the cold. As beautiful as my old stomping grounds are, I don't miss the winters.

Melissa - The weather was perfect! It wasn't San Diego perfect. But it was perfect nonetheless!

Pam - When I left FL it was 84 degrees. I traveled in shorts. Upon my arrival in NC it was 48 degrees. Needless to say I was freezing when I finally got out of my car!

Barbara - Thanks Barbara. I hope you felt some of the warmth from the picture!

Nick - That's what friends do Nick! Glad you had a nice little getaway as well. Now get back to work. Those homes aren't going to sell themselves!

Debi - You could have joined me Debi. All you had to do was call me!

Diane - You're so welcome Diane. I'm here to help.

Russell - Do it Russell! Make the move! Or at least take a vacation and get to the beach!

The BEST place for a vacation, IMO, is the beach. Great view, and no one around. Sounds pretty idyllic to me. You must have found it hard to return home, except business awaits!

What a site to see every day! There is nothing better than the beach. We went to Montauk in August and we had an oceanfront room. Ah, I wanna go back :) Glad you had time to get away.

This is a view that never ends - you can see forever, and once you leave, it stays with you forever.  Great place to relax.

Jeff - Idyllic is the perfect descriptive term. Getting back to work is always hard after a vacation. But this time it proved to be a little tougher than usual.

Jackie - Montauk is absolutely beautiful Jackie. I remember your posts from the beach. Only a few short months from now and it'll be beach weather in NY again for you!

Barbara - It was definitely a great place to relax Barbara. But, alas, work gets in the way and I had to come home!
