Christmas in Wake Forest - Historic Home Tour

The Holidays are truly a magical time in Wake Forest NC and every year we all look forward to Wake Forest NC Historic Home Tour the biennial Holiday Historic Home Tour. This year is shaping up to be one of the biggest tours ever with live music, refreshments, free horse drawn carriage rides and even the college carillon will be playing holiday music. There are approximately 15 homes, churches and other buildings gloriously decorated and open for public viewing on the self-guided tour. This tour is presented by the Historic Preservation Commission and the Wake Forest Woman's Club.

Advance Tickets: $12

Day of Tour: $15

Children under 12: Free Admission

Leesa, My mother lives in a house on the National Historic register built in 1742, they do a tour called the Stroll when a bunch of folks in the neighborhood all visit for half and hour and move on to the next house.

Pretty cool, Steve! This is similar here during the Holidays however the tours are self-guided and people just "show up" but during pre-determined hours, of course.
