The men's consecutive game streak is 88 games set by UCLA in the John Wooden era. The women's record sits currently at 83 games and is still going.

At the World Vision Challenge in Storrs CT the UConn women got 2 steps closer last night and tonight by winning back to back games against Howard University 86-25, and tonight the took on the Lehigh women and came away with an 81-38 win.

They play again Sunday against the women's team from LSU in what can become their 84 consecutive win.

They play hard, they play fast they play together, and at the end of the game they usually win.

They have the potential to still set the record before the end of December.

Ed I did not get to see today's game, but yesterday's was a clinic.  This team might not have a lot of stars right now, but they play as one, and that is what wins games.

I think women college basketball is the most exciting of all the sports.  Better then the pros.
