We all know someone who may be recovering from....has to have surgery on...may have lost a job...or just has a tighter than usual budget this holiday season for a variety of reasons. We have done this....and continue to do it...and know that you will too...you just haven't thought of it yet...and so here it is...it costs you nothing but time and warms the holiday hearts and brings smiles to the faces of young and old this holiday season.
Whether you choose to hang a wreath, decorate a lampost, wrap up a mailbox...offer to put up decorations for someone who is unable to do it themselves...deliver some wonderfully fresh smelling pine boughs you have tied with a bow and decorated as a centerpiece...you have brought some joy...added some color...delivered holiday cheer to a person, family, neighbor, friend who may not otherwise be able to do it for themselves.
You don't have to be a floral designer or a decorator...look on the internet for an idea or two...add a candle to some boughs... a ribbon...a pine cone or an ornament or two....Maybe you will be decorating a tree with your neighbor's, friend's, relative's own ornaments...they just are not physically able to do themselves...or there will be the surprise wreath on the door, boughs on the mailbox...
Whatever you choose,..know that you warming the hearts of people who appreciate this holiday season...and you will be warming your own as well,...knowing you have paid it forward and helped to spread the goodwill and cheer of the holiday season...to borrow a phrase...Bless you every one...!
