Woodstock Illinois...My Last Look At The Neighborhood.

On my last day in Woodstock I thought I'd take a couple of photos's looking out the front and back door of my home there just as a reminder and to show you why I miss it so much.  Now these are not views like Craig Rutman had on his Thanksgiving trip to Florida, but still it's home to me and just as peaceful.  The next time I visit home there will probably be several inches of snow that always make for great photo opps.  Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

Okay, sunny Florida it's not and I would have had a great time with Craig in Florida, but home is where the heart is and the heart was in Woodstock Illinois this Thanksgiving Day.

If you need a knowledgeable real estate professional in Madison or Huntsville Alabama area, why don't you let me Google that for you!

Hey Nick, it's a case of looking ready for winter. Have someone in the family send you some photos in February when the white stuff is on the ground.

For Ed & Debi-here is a photo from a couple of years ago with just a little snow.  I'll never forget the dead silence of that day...one of my best memories in that house.

Snow in Woodstock Illinois a few years ago.

Nick - In your last photo, the ice/snow, looks like pieces of a broken mirror on the ground, with all the cracks in it.  Interesting looking pictures!

Nick, very peaceful indeed! We have a home in Sicily... I have summer views, but never been there in the winter. We are so high up in the mountains we are told it snows only there in Sicily, and our house has no heat!

Nick, you may be right that these photos aren't like the ones from my little getaway. But they're beautiful nonetheless. Fear not though my friend. next time I head down to the condo, I'll give you a call and if you can make it, you're welcome to join me.

Myrl-actually there is no snow or ice...that's flagstone that needs to be cleaned.

Dawn-you may be right and with his skill level maybe we'll never know...except checking for tan lines...that's your job...not mine!!!

Ellen-no heat???  Sounds like some nice cozy/snuggling evenings in store for you!

George-it wasn't so restful, but I did have a lot of fun...back and ready to work!

Jackie-I did and I miss it already.

Craig-you're too kind...hope to take you up on that one day...by the way...any chance of you making it to Atlanta's RainCamp?
