2 Comments on Soaring above the rest is 10% inspiration and 90% attitude!
Nice post Susan! I especially liked the part you mentioned about positve results demanding deliberate action.
I have heard it said that "Attitude is everything" however that is not true, and if one does not think so just watch the opening rounds of American Idol (a show I rarely watch) but I have seen people get up there witha great attitude and not talent and fall flat on their face. If they had taken "Deliberate action" as you mentioned, such as perhaps taking singing lessons to gain the skills they needed their attitude may have made a difference. It reminds me of an excellent book called "The Difference Maker" by John Maxwell. It talks about the difference attitude will and will not make.
If a person has a good work ethic, gaines the knowledge and skills necessary to perform whatever it is they are doing, understands the need for persistence...Attitude will likely make all the difference in the world! Seeking inspiration comes in the pursuit of knowledge and association with peole who are successful at what you want to accomplish!
Thanks for the words of inspiration Susan. Ed makes a good point that it takes more than a good attitude but without that attitude we deny ourselves even the opportunity to succeed.
