6 Comments on Speechless Sundays - Parkdale, Oregon Thanksgiving White Weekend
You guys got more snow that we did down here in Salem! Just a dusting a day or two before Thanksgiving, and some ice.
Tis the season...SNOW SEASON that is, and I'm just not ready! Great photo.
It has sounded like you are getting quite a good start on the snowfall! We have BARELY gotten any here in Denver, which is fine! Keep it in the mountains, and we are have EPIC SNOW THERE!
I am not ready for the white stuff yet, but those two faces are just too adorable and look quite comfortable with the snow falling around them.
We came back through the gorge when returning from vacation a day before this storm hit, we felt so grateful that we left Utah when we did, because pulling a trailer in snow is not what I would call fun.

Catherine, we did get more snow as we are at approx 1,800 feet. In fact, still have it on the ground, plus received another dusting today.
Laura, our kids were very much ready for the snow. They have been enjoying it, except when I make them shovel the deck or driveway.
Joan, we used to get to Denver quite often from Telluride. There was usually a pretty distinct altitude when the snow really thinned out. I remember it being just east of Evergreen Parkway most of the time. If not then the last stretch down to Denver could be an exciting ride.
Sharon, the kids do enjoy the snow - one year they got over 50 days on skis. Not planning that many this year.
Todd, I-84 can be a pain without the trailer - glad you made the long trip back from Utah safely.
Thanks to all for stopping by and commenting,
Mel
