Crofton MD Real Estate - Status for week of 11/21/10 to 11/27/10

The Crofton, MD real estate market was pretty slow last week all around. Of course, we’re dealing with a couple of days lost due to Thanksgiving.

On the rental side, three new rental listings were added, making a total of 28 rentals now available in Crofton, MD. One single family detached and two townhouses were added to the rental inventory this past week. Three applications were registered on existing rentals, and three units were rented. The rental market in Crofton has been slowing down for about the past two months.

Two new listings came on the market, making the total homes for sale in the Crofton, MD inventory 128. The new listings were both townhouses and priced at $319,000 and $325,000.

Four homes in the Crofton, MD inventory went under contract last week. Both were in the contract/no kick out category. No contingent contracts. Two townhouses and two single famil detached homes. One other home went into full contract status, where all contingencies except financing are removed. Four homes completed the sale process and went to settlement. Two condo’s and two single family homes.

No listings expired and six were withdrawn. About average for homes in Crofton, MD. It’s likely that most of them will come back on the market with another broker, and possibly a price reduction.

A slow week of activity for Crofton, MD, but not stopped either.
