Annual tree lighting in Union County, NC will be held in different locations in December. Come out and enjoy!
- December 3, 2010...Weddington Tree Lighting at 5p.m. The ceremony will take place at the town hall, featuring two hours of performances from local schools and churches. Children are to bring some type of homemade ornament to help decorate the tree. Coats will also be collected to donate to the Christmas Bureau.
- December 4, 2010...Christmas in Downtown Monroe from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Santa will arrive at 4p.m. There will be carriage and trolley rides, Live music to enjoy on the Plaza, food vendors, local businesses will hold open houses and the tree lighting will be at 7p.m.
