GE RUN THRU THE WOODS 2010 A SUCCESS!
Although it was a balmy 80 degrees at 8 a.m. and a very high humidity, the GE Run Thru the Woods was a success again this year!
For the 21st year, this race was well attended with lots of crowds cheering us along the way as well as many, many participants.
The five mile race winds through the downtown area of The Woodlands, going across I-45 and through the neighborhoods of Oak Ridge.
Here are a few pictures. The picture above is right before the start at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Below are some of my running buddies and I snapped a picture of the finish as I rounded the corner and headed to cross that finish line and then racing home for some yummy Thanksgiving dinner!
