Golden Eagle Plantation has been reviewed on this site as much or more than any other Tallahassee neighborhood. It is a solid barometer for how upper end homes are doing in Tallahassee and with me living in the neighborhood, the information that I review is far more than just data. Also, I got my start in real estate selling lots in Golden Eagle Plantation in 1991.
Note: Today is Danny Manausa‘s Birthday, so if you happen to see him, wish him a happy birthday!
Our recent reviews of the Buckhead Neighborhood and Bull Run Neighborhood were published over the holidays, but in what might be a good sign for our housing market, the two articles were viewed by hundreds of people during what is usually a “dead” time in real estate.
Currently, there is about a year’s supply of homes for sale in Golden Eagle Plantation, which is slightly below average in Tallahassee, but much better than the 18 months of supply that we reported in May. During the past twelve months, we have seen arms length home sales for as little as $327,000 and for as high as $750,000.
The real estate graph above shows home value changes in Golden Eagle Plantation over time. The red line represents the short-term changes (one year trend), while the green (5 year) and blue (10 year) lines show longer trends. It appears as if we might have found a bottom, as the short term trend as been selling at a pretty consistent pint for the past year or so.
We have established a quicklink for readers who want to know about current listings in Golden Eagle Plantation. It can be found a www.GoldenEagleHomeSales.com and will always display the current list of homes listed in the Tallahassee MLS.
