HIP TIPZ #251

Is space tight in your dining area?  Place the table's short side against the wall with the chairs facing each other on the long sides of the table.

HIP TIPZ #252

Do you have a log cabin with exposed logs in your living room area?  Use contemporary furnishings and accessories for a dramatic mix of rustic and urban flavours.

HIP TIPZ #253

Check out StoneSkin peel and stick mosaic tiles.  They're easy to install and lightweight.  Create your very own custom design look.

HIP TIPZ #254

Do you move your room dividers around a lot?  How about installing castors on them.  Be sure that they won't scratch your floor though.

HIP TIPZ #255

Check out Jonas Samson light emitting wall panels.  Flick a switch and a pattern will light up on your wall.  When the switch is turned off, it looks like wallpaper.

Charlene - I hadn't heard of this light emitting wallpaper either - had to google it of course - Eco Lucce - what a wonderful idea, and wouldn't it be uber cool in a downtown loft or condo.  Wonder what the cost is.  Hope it's not uber expensive, too.

David - I hadn't heard of them either.  I found out about them through Azure Magazine.  I hope I have the opportunity to use them on a project some day.

Sally - Me either!  They would definitely be awesome in an urban setting.  I would imagine they probably aren't very cheap, but I'm sure they're worth it!

Thanks for the tipz Charlene. I am working on a redesign project right now where those light panels might be just the thing to use.

Michelle - You're welcome!  That's great, make sure you post pix if you use them.  I'd love to know how it turns out.
