This is for us old timers...a trip down memory lane. Bye-Bye Miss American Pie was an extremely popular song when I was a kid. I really think it tells the story of a generation, of innocence lost. Sort of a coming of age song that will forever be in our hearts.

I love the song, and still enjoy hearing it on the oldies station. I was in my first year of college when this came out.

One of the all time greatest classic hits of our generation. I even heard my grandson singing it one day while we driving somewhere. The music lives on....
