Edison & Ford Holiday Nights
December 9, 2010 - January 1, 2011.
Open until 9 p.m. and Closed Christmas Eve Night and Christmas Day.
The Estates holiday tradition continues with Edison & Ford Holiday Nights, Southwest Florida’s 35 year annual event. The winter homes of the Edison and Ford families will be seasonally decorated. NEW Guided Tours (special ticket) of the homes and gardens including period decorations and Edison and Ford family traditions. The Estates Museum will be open every evening with special exhibits as well as nightly holiday performances by area students and groups. Special discount nights available to Lee County Residents on December 9, 10, 11, and 12.
Group rates are available to groups of 20 or more people with advance

Enjoy food and drinks throught out the gardens, shopping in the Creative Cottage for unique gifts (artist and authors on-site to personalize purchases), and an auction of wreaths created by area florists, artists, and personalities.

Christmas Through a Child’s Eye
The Fort Myers Women’s Club presents “Christmas Through a Child’s Eye” at both of these historic, turn-of-the century homes: the Langford-Kingston and Burroughs homes in downtown Fort Myers. Nightly entertainment includes choral and dance groups, pianists and more along with the traditional singing Christmas tree.

Annual Festival of Trees, downtown Fort Myers: Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. A beautiful holiday showcase, featuring dazzlingly decoratedtrees, elaborate wreaths, a children’s holiday workshop, and more! This free event is open to the public, and helps to raise awareness for Goodwill and the Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation.
