Branchburg Master Plan Community Workshops on December 9, 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM and December 11, 9:30 AM – 12:00 noon Raritan Valley Community College in the Grand Conference Rooms A-B. Both Workshops are identical and residents/ property owners are asked to participate in only one workshop. The purpose of the workshops is to gather community input on land use issues and master plan goals for the new 2011 Master Plan. Additional workshops will be held February and March of next year to further explore the recommendations generated from these workshops.

Radio City Music Hall Christmas Show - Tickets are still available for the Tuesday, December 7 show. Bus leaves White Oak Park at 1 PM. Show time is 5 PM so there isl time for sight-seeing. Good seats in the Orchestra section. Tickets are $75 and include transportation and the show. Call the Recreation Office for more information - 526-1300, x 187.

Branchburg Recreation Creative Theater is back with Miranda DeStefano-Meene & Joe DeStefano at the helm. Twenty eight very talented Branchburg actors and actresses in grades 3-8 will be presenting a humorous adaptation of Clement C. Moore's, "Twas the Night Before Christmas.” It is 'family entertainment' at its best! Come out for this wonderful performance which will be held at Whiton Elementary School on Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11; 7:30 PM for the Friday show and 6:00 PM for the Saturday show. Admission is an unwrapped toy donation for Toys for Tots. Call the Recreation Department with questions: 908-526-1300 ext 187.

Leaf Pick-Up: Will continue through December 10. There will be a minimum of two pick ups in each area. Leaves should be raked to the curb and should not be raked into the road or within 10 feet of a catch basin. Leaves can also be taken to the dumpster during normal days/hours of operation – no permit required. Questions: 908/526-1300, ext. 177

Somerville High School: students are collecting pink yogurt lids for “Save Lids to Save Lives" to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. Please bring your pink lids to the canister at the Municipal Building by Dec. 15.
