13 Comments on Motivational Monday-NO MORE EXCUSES!
Lanre - I can feel your enthusiasm from the screen. Because of your enthusiasm, you will continue to have the fire to keep keeping on. I'm inspired by you today.
Loreena Yeo, Realtor® Frisco TX Homes www.316teamREALTY.com (214) 783-2210 (3:16 team REALTY)-From a Superstar Blogger like yourself,I am touched-SERIOUSLY! Thank you Loreena. Happy Monday to you.
Lanre-I unplugged last week, went to San Diego for 6 days, running around crazy today, making my goals for the week tonight, stay tuned. I like this Monday Motivator, good stuff. Let's get our goals!!!
My suggestion: Bite off 3 of these and get them done. Then, if you have time before the week is over, reward yourself for getting 3 more done before the week is over (an ice-cream sundae, perhaps, or a nap or ???).
A list this long could be setting you up for failure. Better to have a manageable doable list and complete it. As you see the positive results of your efforts, I think you'll be excited to take on more the next week. Good luck, I know you'll succeed!
Lanre - Timely post as I have been thinking about some realistic but effective goals I might set for 2011! This was a slow first year for me, but I am more motivated than ever to hit it with a vengeance in January! :)
Margaret Woda, Maryland Real Estate & Military Relocation Services (Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., Crofton, MD)-Margaret you should be my Coach-SERIOUSLY. You always tell it like it is and I really appreciate that. But to be honest with you, this is nothing. I just got sidetracked with a lot of things-Ex:Showing houses and submittting offers. I got to set the bar high. Thanks for your comments.
Valerie Baker - Spokane Realtor® (Exit Real Estate Professionals)-Banks messed me up. But that's why I am making a shift in my business now. Anything can get done. To a great 2011 Valerie.
Kim Darling Realtor,GRI, "Your Home Team" Fresno/Clovis Real Estate (Keller Williams Westland Realty)-Let's get our goals Kim. We are going to over exceed our goals this week. Great to hear from you.
Lanre - Guilty of lack of movement after Turkey....I feel like one as I have not pushed hard for a while. Thanks for the motivation to get back on track.
Oh wow. . .Okay we have a lot in common - 1) I am total foody too 2) Set tons of goals. . .Did you know that the difference between super successful people and those moderately successful . . .The super successful - SET GOALS. You will be a Rock Star in 2011 - you take the East Coast I will take the West. . .LOL
You can do it! I like the phrase consistency brings cash....and I know I owe you, get it done by Friday! Accountability is key for me too, my friend!
Lanre,
Great post and very comprehensive. Do you schedule/calender certain activities for a certain day each week?
Good speed,
Steve
I agree with #4 Margaret Comment. When I looked at your list I was overwhelm just thinking about it. Take it little at a time and reward yourself once you accomplish a task. I know you could do it. You did better than me. I have to start writting my Business Plan for 2011.
Hey Lanre! I like the list. But I'd like to see ONLY the list of what you DID accomplish. And not the list of what you didn't get done. I'm curious, how do you feel about that list? On a scale of 1 low 10 high, how do you feel about what you wrote? How would you rate yourself based on 2010?
Lanre, Lanre, Lanre.....I love the fact you set high goals and are enthusiastic! Do you have your goals broken down, though, into daily tasks? I felt overwhelmed just reading all you want to get done - but I do agree with others who have said you need short term AND long term goals. You should be achieving many short term goals every day and that will only add to your motivation!
