26 Comments on A Surprising and Classy Wedding Gift
Wendy: Thank you! It was a great day. There was no family drama. It's was all about the two of us.
Cindy: And I'm sure she'll continue to be a good friend. Once she gets her computer set up in her new Delaware home she's been tasked with joining Facebook to keep in touch with all of us.
How extraordinarily nice. I have never been to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse simply because they have the menu posted outside and I’ve seen the prices. J♪♫♫♪
Jim: It's worth it to celebrate a big ocassion. You and Russel should try it. Splurge.
Sean and I had a small wedding too. Just 13 of us including our three boys and us.
It was a perfect day and I wouldn't change a thing! Bigger is not always better!
Chris Ann, that is such a sweet story! I'm not surprised that you and your colleagues are really going to miss this woman!
Wendy: I used to sell engagement and wedding rings. The happiest brides were the ones who did simple or destination weddings.
Pat: She's given us an open invitation to come see her at the beach, where she's built a brand new house. She may be sorry she did that.
Chris Ann, before I decided to do Real Estate Photography, I considered doing Wedding Photography. I decided that I couldn't imagine dealing with Bridezilla's for the rest of my life!
Wendy: There once was a gal that came into the jewelry store on a busy Saturday and had a literal temper tantrum because her fiance didn't buy her a bigger diamond that she had on her "wish list." It was so sad. That poor man. He had no idea what he was getting into.
I have been off line for a couple of weeks and missed this news. Congratulations Chris Ann. You and your husband look so happy.
Cathy: Oh boy. I should have put in the date. We were married in 2007. This post was an offshoot to a tribute to my Broker who retired at the end of November.
My bad for speed reading. If I could train myself to read slower I would have seen the word "April". None the less - you two looked great - and my contratulations, if belated, still stand. :-)
Cathy: Thanks. I'm guilty of speed reading myself. Like you, I find it hard to slow down sometimes.
Hi Chris, I read this last night but didn't get a chance to comment. I had tears flowing when I read it. How nice of her to do that for you and James. What a great photo of you both!
Jackie: Thanks! I'm glad you decided to come back and comment.
You never told me this story! How sweet. Eileen is a true class act. But I'm with Alan. Class attracts class.
Anne: It was a personal moment, but with the retirement of Eileen, felt appropriate to share.
If she had a temper tantrum over the size of her ring and he married her anyway, he shouldn't have been suprised when she made his life difficult down the road. Believe people when they show you who they are, the first time....saves a lot of grief!
That's just it. He wasn't there. He bought it, gave it to her and she came back and freaked out in the store without him there. We joked about calling and warning him, but ultimately, it's truly none of our business.
Goodness Gracious! I bet they aren't still married! Poor guy!
Let's hope not.
