2010 West Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade

More than 100,000 spectators are expected to watch the 2010 Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade a 15-mile floating party of decorated boats and yachts that benefits Toys for Tots.
The Dec. 4 parade on the Intracoastal Waterway starts at Peanut Island and ends at the Jupiter Lighthouse. Last year more than 50 boats participated. The event is hosted by organized by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County.
The parade is also a toy drive for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots. In 2009 nearly 19,000 new, unwrapped toys were collected. Toy donations can be dropped off at local collection points or will be picked up from spectators along the parade. Anyone wishing to donate is asked to wave a flashlight at the passing red or yellow towboats, or the volunteer vessels that will have flashing amber beacons.
At Riverwalk in Jupiter, Santa will make an appearance from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The best decorated boats are named based on boat size, category and best overall.
The Town of Jupiter and the Marine Industry Association of Palm Beach County are teaming up to bring the Holiday Boat Parade north to the Jupiter Lighthouse! The beautiful waterside Events Plaza along the Jupiter Riverwalk will host a FREE special parade viewing event, including food, music, and festivities.

Bring your own chair, and enjoy the sounds of the season with holiday entertainment while you relax and watch the boats drift by in all of their holiday finery. The Events Plaza is an official Toys for Tots collection location, so bring a new, unwrapped toy for this annual tradition of giving.
Jupiter viewing sites for the Holiday Boat Parade & Fireworks include the Riverwalk Events Plaza, Harbourside, Sawfish Bay Park, and Lighthouse Park. Visits with Santa, food & beverage vendors and entertainment will be at the Events Plaza and Harbourside. 2010 West Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade
