Good to know.  During the holiday season I'll have to make sure I include some type of hot pepper in my daily intake.  :-)

Sweet or hot, peppers can add so much to the meal.  Habaneros, light my fire.  Thanks Kristin!  Thanksgiving brought them and their fabulous colors to the table often.

I did know this but you reminded me.  With our first snowfall, I think I can derive all these good peppery benefits by making some chili!  Thank, Kristin and enjoy your weekend!

Hmmm...why didn't you post this a month ago so that I could have added peppers to my diet and lose some weight before going on vacation this month!  I always need to drop a few pounds before going because I eat WAY too much on vacation!!  I guess I can add peppers to the food that I eat while I'm gone, huh?!

Very interesting, Kristin.  They sure clear out the nasal passages, as well.  I wonder if people who eat lots of hot peppers have fewer colds, flu, etc.  Any research on that?

I can see why you would burn up all those calories eating those peppers....you'd be running to the sink to get some cold water!
