GoDaddy.com Support Rocks

If you are ever looking for a place where you can buy your domain names cheap, host your website, integrate a blog, or many of the other services they offer, you need to go with GoDaddy.com.  Their support is outstanding, I cannot say enough good things about them.  They are always patient, courteous and helpful.  I got one person on the phone last night who actually looked at my site and told me what I was doing wrong, gave me the steps to fix it and answered all my questions in detail.  I have never encountered a help desk as good as this one.  They simply are the best!!!!

Sometimes.  Sometimes not so much.  I tried to transfer all of my domains to Go-Daddy and they couldn't manage the transfer.  They were, at all times, polite and tried to be helpful.  They just couldn't get the job done.

Caution...their email support sometimes becomes a bit...um...lacking.  :(  But overall it's a decent service.

Thanks for the tip Linda. I use Godaddy for a family website, but hadn't really considered it for a business one. Maybe I'll look deeper...

You R Correct LR.

Go-Daddy has developed a costumer friendly system to host, buy domain name manage these things, etc. I have been purchasing names from them 4 years, they are great at selling and setting up that aspect, but WHEN IT COMES TO HOSTING, THEY HAVE NOT A CLUE. i'M HAPPY WITH BLUEHOST~ NEVER DOWN, No problem man.

I'D RATE THEM A 8-- THEY GET ER DONE!

yOU'RE ON A rOLL.

i HAVE ABOUT 79 USELESS DOMAIN N AMES THAT I BOUGHT FROM GD

I definitely agree with you. Godaddy provides more than decent service. And the support is there when it is needed.

GoDaddy rocks.  Totally awesome customer service.  You can get the help by email or phone, and you never feel that they want to pass the buck.  How do we solve your problem, how can we help you..

All my domains are registered with GoDaddy and I would never think of going anywhere else.   Don't have 79 useless domains like "Mott" but I sure have a bunch of useless ones I've picked up.

Linda - Glad you found a service to meet your needs.  Customer service is a key element in any business, I have seen companies with good products loose there market share because of poor customer service.

Linda, thanks for the review. I considered GoDaddy, but went with Yahoo. Perhaps I'll make a switch after this year.

I've had great success with using GoDaddy.  The only area of customer service I've found lacking there was their billing department and online billing system.  Their online billing is confusing and can result in double charges if you're not careful!  I've never had a problem with their hosting though!

In particular, I'd recommend their "Website Tonight" sites.  The sites are inexpensive and can be easily constructed, edited and managed by the site owner.  I purchased one of these sites on a whim and built it in a couple of hours.  It receives thousands of hits per year and it cost me peanuts!

I'm puzzled about something..how can you blame GoDaddy for selling you "79 useless domain names"?  After all, the buyer makes the decision about what names to purchase.

Well, if anything it has created some interesting comments. I have bought some domain names from GD but now I have to decide what to do with them.   I will keep reading and see what others have to say.

Totally agree... Godaddy and Apple offer the best support of ANY company I've ever dealt with.  I would never do business with anyone but Godaddy.... regardless of price.
