I found some interesting old pictures of places in Hawaii.  They include the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus, Oahu Country Club in Nuuanu and the sugar cane train in Waipahu.

There are many more pictures, it just takes time to edit them for a blog post.  If you'd like to see pictures of a particular part of the island, send me an e-mail or post a comment and I'll find something interesting.

Take a look at them in this blog, titled Pictures of Old Hawaii.

I especially love the Oahu Country Club. Surprise they still have those photos accessible. I love Hawaii...been there 3 times.

I'm sure this would be a great vacation place to visit.  I'll have to sell some houses and then I can go there.

Time to go back. The WW II exhibit was pretty moving...when you see late year dates of sailors that made it out alive but came back to be interned when they died. That takes away your breath, words and no one is talking as it sinks in. Many gave some, some gave all is good to remember not just on Veterans Day.
