The Next Generations of Green Cars!

According to Forbes Magazine, from the China-sourced Coda to Hyundai and Volkswagen, a rundown of the flood of plug-ins and hybrids set to hit the market very soon!

Here are the following lists:

Honda CR-Z hybrid

On sale now
Honda's newly launched hybrid sports coupe costs between $19,200 and $23,210, making it the most affordable hybrid on the road.

Hyundai Sonata  hybrid

On sale soon
Hyundai hasn't yet announced the price of this hybrid version of its hot-selling new Sonata mid-sized sedan. But with an improving quality reputation and its claim to have the most fuel-efficient lineup in the country, Hyundai likely will polish that image with this car

Lincoln MKZ  hybrid

On sale now
Lincoln says its first hybrid gets 41 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway, best in the luxury car segment. It priced the car identically to the gasoline-powered version, at $35,180.

Porsche Cayenne  S hybrid

On sale now
This hybrid version of Porsche's biggest seller promises 24 mpg, which is a huge improvement over the 13 city and 19 highway mpg for the V-8 version. At high speeds, the engine shuts down, allowing the car to "sail" using only electric power. Pricing starts at $67,700, about $4,000 more than the Cayenne S with a gas engine.

Lexus  CT 200h hybrid

Due in 2011
It's the first vehicle from the Japanese carmaker that was designed from the ground up as a hybrid.

This just an FYI only!

Thanks

thanks for the good info. You must either be in the market for a new car...or just a real car buff.

Thank you so much for the info... I am a proud Hybrid driver.. I have a 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid and I love it... Not only is it good for the enviroment because you and not releasing as many carbon emmissions into the atmosphere and not using as much resources but its saves sooo much money... I can literally drive from Yorba Linda, CA. to Las Vegas and back to Yorba Linda, CA. on a take of gas and still have a quarter of a tank left... I would highly reccommend a hybrid.

Give me a great big Detroit with a V-8.   Or an S-Class Mercedes, or an Audi 8 Series.

Hi Adam,

You must be a car guy.

My Lincoln Navigator is now 6 years old and just crossed 100000. I love it more than the day I bought it!

I have to admit, though, that every time I go to a gas station I look over at the little Prius next to me and think - "I could see myself driving that!!"

I am happy to see the advances on technology and the cars aren't bad looking either! Soon Hybrid will be the norm may take a while but it will happen.
