By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty - Atlantic Shore

A great Christmas present for that particularly difficult friend or relative on your list this year is an individual or family membership to the Tuckerton Seaport!

$25 will buy a Tuckerton Seaport individual membership for a year and it's just $35 for family membership.  That's one or two adults, and all the kids under 18!

Membership allows unlimited general admission to the Tuckerton Seaport (usually $8 a visit), a subscription to the Tuckerton Seaport Sentinel quarterly newsletter, a personalized, non-transferable membership card (particularly important for the youngsters on your list), a Tuckerton Seaport decal for your car or boat, advance registration for special events, reduced rates for classes, programs and special events and discounts at Tuckerton Seaport Gift Shop!

Keeping our Christmas dollars in the neighborhood by shopping at locally owned businesses in southern Ocean County is particularly important in 2010.  But just as important, is support of southern Ocean County's not for profit organizations which add so much to the fabric of our community.

Consider buying a Tuckerton Seaport membership for someone on your Christmas list.  You'll not only be supporting the Tuckerton Seaport and it's great educational programs, but you'll be providing entertainment for 12 months!

There's no store to visit, you can purchase Tuckerton Seaport membership on line, click here!

Laura, that sounds like a terrific bargain. We live near the local Zoo and support it every year with a membership as we think it's really important to keep a treasure like it open.

Local merchant shopping keeps the towns alive.  Lot of downtowns died off because people wanted to give their money to large  out of town corporations.
