Whether you are seasoned blogger with SEO, Google Analytics, Facebook, Tweets, a cutting edge web site and more or a newbie scratching your head at all this stuff and what the ruckus is, AR RainCamp offers a huge array of education for all.    It’s a wonderful opportunity to start working on your business plan for 2011 in the real estate or associated fields. 

The real estate world as we know it has changed dramatically.  Being on the Internet where the consumers start their search for properties, mortgages, insurance – literally everything is the place to be.  The more you can tap into your market with SEO components as a community real estate expert, the more business you will have.  

It wasn’t very long after I joined ActiveRain that I got my first phone call asking for help finding properties.  I had blogged on a community and the folks who were moving here from an International City had found me on-line because of my blog!   Even better than being able to help them, was the fact that we were a good fit for each other.  By reading my blog posts, they could actually meet me first and see how I operated.  

I love the community that is ActiveRain.  We can learn, grow, cry and share with a big group of folks around the US and Canada.  It’s amazing how many great ideas I’ve picked up just being an avid reader (subscriber) of so many wonderful folks.

I’ve also got to admit, I just can’t wait to hear Ben Kinney lead the day.   I was SO excited they were coming to Atlanta, I literally signed up IMMEDIATELY upon receiving the e-mail alert.  I had actually hoped to get to RainCamp a bit earlier, but had two other conflicts for the same day as Charlotte!  

For those of you not jumping on the SEO, blogging, Facebook bandwagon, please read Who Moved My Cheese?  By Spencer Johnson.  Whether you change is immaterial, the real estate world around you IS changing, why not jump on the bandwagon now?  Continuing to seek education on the best ways to help our clients should be at the head of any business plan.
