This is a very inspirational message - not just for this holiday season but throughout the year.   Bob Hashbarger from Springfield, Missouri --- regardless of our circumstances we can accept the bad or pursue the good and move on to greatness.   Read on and be inspired by Bob's post:

Via Bob Hashbarger REALTOR®,Springfield, MO, Homes for Sale (RE/MAX Solutions):

I'm a big believer in Self Willed Prophecy.

Whenever I see someone dragging their chin and blaming their circumstances on others I shake my head.  When I see someone who has decided to succeed I see them moving toward success because we move toward what we're thinking.

A wise old woman once told me "A Worry is a Prayer for Something we Don't Want".

I know someone who lost his Mom when he was six, was moved from relative to relative for years, worked 40hrs a week through high school and college and never once thought about failure.  If a six year old can decide to move toward success anyone can.

There is a winner and a looser in each of us.  Decide which one you want to cultivate.

You're welcome, Rebecca - you are right it is a great sentiment.  Don't you think the re-blog feature is a true benefit of Active Rain - there are so many posts I have missed the first time only to see them as a re-blog.

Thank you for playing this gem forward. I love the line that "a worry is a prayer for something you do not want."

Well Michael, I think maybe its a wake up call for those who worry alot instead of planning towards their next step into succeeding and making it strong in life. And I don't think we grown ups would want to be beaten by a 6 year old!
