Move to Stapleton: A resident Realtor's view of the Stapleton community!
An associate of mine at the office is contemplating making the move to Stapleton. He asked me a month or so ago if I liked it, "Of course I like it, actually I love it!" that was enough for him. He didn't need further confirmation. Until a month later, " So now tell me, do you really like Stapleton?" I laughed because he was me 7 years ago. Before Stapleton I had lived in the Highlands in a sweet little Victorian, my husband & I then moved to a beautiful Denver Square in Congress Park, then we tried out the mid century modern architecture just South of DU. We were an old neighborhood couple that doubled in size & tripled in needs!
Stapleton was that curtain I really wanted to look behind but knew if I did I was going to fall in love! When I peeked behind the curtain I liked what I saw or at least the the idea. After 2 years of dipping my toes I was ready to make the move to Stapleton- but Stapleton was not ready for me! What the??? 100 people on a wait list to purchase a home from 1 particular builder? Insane! The wait list moved quickly as building was abundant we were in our new home within 15 months. So fast forward 5 years later I now know why we made the perfect choice for our family to live and workin & I want to share with all the Stapleton curious folks what is so great about this nationally recognized neighborhood!
For the next ten days I am going to do a count down to my number 1 reason why & how my move to Stapleton was so beneficial. Although 10-2 are in no particular order.
#10- Stapleton's location is perfect!! Time is valuable & the less I can spend in the car the better. I do a lot of my businessfrom home but I also spend a lot of time driving. I love that I can be on a major highway in less then 5 minutes. I can get to DIA in 20 minutes & downtown in 12.
Stapleton business owners must feel the same way. So many businesses have opened their doors making it so easy to get what I need right here that I don't have to leave the neighborhood! With 29th town center, Quebec Square, Stapleton Northfield & small shops on the south end I am sure to get what I need quickly.
