Selling a home can be a stressful and challenging task.  Getting ready for showings and keeping the house "show ready" is time consuming and often difficult especially if one has a busy work schedule and a family.  Many of my sellers bemoan this sometimes Herculean task.  Combine the usual challenges with selling during the Holidays and the stress level can go through the roof!

I always prepare my sellers for this time, by letting them know that activity likely will decline during the Holidays, but when buyers come through for a showing at this time of year we know they are serious about buying.

The trick is trying to balance Aunt Millie's visit, shopping, baking, the Holiday Party and the often last minute showing request with grace.
