Moncks Corner, Berkeley County

 2010 Santa Pictures: 

Santa pictures will be held at the Depot on Saturday December 4, 2010 from 1 PM to 5 PM.  For more information please call (843-899-4708) 

2010 Christmas Parade:
 Annual Town Christmas Parade Sunday December 5, 2010 at 3:00 PM.  The parade will begin at Berkeley High School and end at Main Street Extension.  Parade Entry Application Form.  For more information please call (843-899-4708) 

2010 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony:  

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Sunday December 5, 2010 at Unity Park located on Main Street at 5:30 PM.  The Ceremony will include musical selections from various local performers, lighting of the Town Christmas Tree and Santa Claus will be our special guest for the evening.

 Christmas Celebration: 

Saturday, December 4th from 2 pm to 6pm at the Goose Creek Community Center. Enjoy crafts and vendors, choral performances, visits with Santa, jump castles, kids craft area, marshmellow roasting, hay ride, and the tree lighting. 

Holiday Crafts for Kids: 

Saturday, December 4th at the Casey Community Center from 9 am to noon, ages 7 to 15. This fun workshop will allow kids to make fun crafts and gifts for friends and family. Includes refreshments. Preregistration is required. $15 per child, $17 for non-residents, plus a $5 supply fee for the instructor. 

Parents Night Out: 

Friday, December 17th at the Casey Community Center from 6 pm to 10 pm for ages 4 and up. Parents do you some alone time for shopping or just a break from it all? Let the Casey Community Center watch your kids while you enjoy a night out. Includes pizza dinner, jump castles and games with prizes, gymnasics, craft time, and a holiday movie. $15 per child, $10 for additional sibling. Non-residents, $17/$12 

Summerville, SC

December 12th from 2pm to 4pm on Main Street. 

Saturdays with Santa

North Charleston Christmas Festival

Held the first Saturday of December, the Christmas Festival includes a Holiday Market with craft vendors and local farmers, food vendors, and live musical performances on two stages. The Christmas Parade begins at the corner of Montague and Mixson Avenues, proceeds down Montague, around Park Circle, and concludes at Armory Park. Immediately following the Christmas Parade, Mayor R. Keith Summey lights the City's Christmas tree located outside the front entrance of the Felix C. Davis Community Center. Christmas lights and displays shine at Park Circle and on the eight exterior islands nightly from the beginning of December until New Years Day.

The Holiday Market is a combination of locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, hot food and homemade preserves. A wide variety of handcrafted gifts made by local artisans will include Christmas ornaments, glass work, whimsical holiday crafts, clothing, and original art by locally recognized potters, wood-workers, painters and photographers.Live entertainment with a holiday twist will kindle the holiday spirit throughout the market. Children's activities will include face painting, a jump castle and a visit with Santa Claus, who will listen to Christmas wishes and hand out candy canes.

Mount Pleasant Holiday Extravaganza Sunday, December 12, 2010
Coleman Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC
More than 100 floats will march down Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Holiday Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. The tree lighting and fireworks display will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Moultrie Middle School, immediately followed by the parade beginning at 5:45 p.m. The parade starts at the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Pelzer Drive, then continues past Shem Creek to conclude at the Sea Island Shopping Center around 7:15 p.m.
