Motivational Power Quote

Grasp the Opportunity

"Luck is the sense to recognize an opportunity

and the ability to take advantage of it."

Samuel Goldwyn, entertainment executive

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Grasp the opportunity

Be a possibility thinker. Think in terms of what can be and you begin to see things in a difference light. Looks that things with the attitude of what can be and you'll see opportunity.

An opportunity can come into our life as a spark and unless we recognize it that spark, it will flicker and go out never to appear again. It becomes an unrecognized opportunity and fades away into the trash heap of unfulfilled opportunities.

To grasp opportunity we have to be a possibility thinker with the attitude of seeing things not as they are but for what they can be. Most opportunities appear as a work in process and will take an effort to make them work. Also in things that other people did not recognize for there potential or in things that have been that have been abandoned.

We have to the ability to recognize an opportunity in its present form and take that opportunity and work with it until we release the full potential of the opportunity.

To maximize an opportunity we have to be prepared to take full advantage of the opportunity.

Grasp the opportunity because it passes this way only one time and there is no way to know what opportunity will turn into an opportunity of a lifetime.

Life is full of opportunity... being able to recognize it on the other hand, that's something that we all can work on.

Hmmm, I'm not sure opportunity only knocks once..however, I do believe you should not waste one when it presents itself. ;) Great post.

I think that we also have to look at people in terms of what can be... ourselves included.

Thanks Lou!

Good afternoon Lou,

Yes it is all in our perception..is the glass half full? With interest rates in the 4% range I'd say there is quite an opportunity!!

Very true. Instead of sitting and complaining about the circumstance one finds himself in, it may be an opportunity that is being ignored! Thanks, as usual!
