Snow is coming! Snow is coming!!!

Why would anyone care in many part of the country many people are sick and tired of snow already.  I live in Arizona and more specifically in city of Goodyear which as far as I remember only had snow once in its natural form.  As part of Holiday celebration there are number of events planned for Estrella Master Planned Community in city of Goodyear.  To start off holiday season there is a special event scheduled for Saturday December 4th from 3 to 6 PM. 
There will be official tree lighting ceremony.  You will be able to meet Santa.  There will be hot chocolate and cookies all around.  But most importantly organizers guarantee there will be snow.  So come on over and enjoy that white stuff without worry about taking out your shovels.

It snowed here in our town for about 1/2 an hour the other day and I couldn't believe how excited I felt!  Just like a kid again.  Looked like a blizzard outside - I'm sure all the school kids had their noses pressed up against the windows as we don't usually get alot around here!

Sounds like a lot of fun in your town!  Enjoy your weekend.  Won't be long now till Christmas:)

Liz and Teresa, thank you and yes we will enjoy it for sure.  It will be home made but it still will feal like real thing for kids.  It will make them feel just like kids in the other parts of the country.  For most of the little ones they have only seen snow on TV.

I agree with you Teresa Christmas will be here before we know it.

It's been many years since I have seen snow in North Florida. I would be a nice surprise to see it this year for Christmas.
