"This year's tour features two historic homes and a church in the heart of Waxhaw, and four new homes in Waxhaw's Cureton development."

As a special surprise meet Mr. Leo Maguire.  He is the man in the Norman Rockwell Painting "Home on Leave (Sailor in Hammock)."  Mr. Maguire will make his presentation on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2pm.  "Home on Leave" was on the front cover of The Saturday Evening Post on September 15, 1945.  The original sold at Sotheby's New York for $4,520,000. on May 23, 2007.   Come meet Mr. Leo Maguire who was the model for this picture.

My father was in WW11 and served in the Navy. This picture reminds me of Dad and how he might of looked in the day. I purchased this picture to remind me and my sisters of the Dad we so much missed so many tears ago. Thanks for the memories.
