Fun way to keep in touch with clients and friends!

To my delight, I got the text below in an email from a friend. What a great way to reach out to clients and friends, I thought.

Time for the recipe exchanges!!!!  I hope you will participate.

Please send a recipe to the person whose name is in position #1 (even
if you don't know her/him).  Send something quick, easy, and without
rare ingredients.  Actually, the best recipe is the one you know in
your head and can type right now.  Don't agonize over it; it is one
you make when you are short on time.

#2. oldpal@wxyz.net

After you've sent the recipe to the person in position #1  (and
only to that person), copy this letter into a new email, move #2 name
to position #1. Put your name in position #2.  Only #1's name and your
name should show when you send your email.  Send to 20 friends BCC
(blind copy).  You should receive 36 recipes.  It's fun to see where
they come from! Seldom does anyone drop out because we all need new
ideas. The turnaround is fast as there are only 2 names on the list
and you only have to do it once.

Here is a recipe I got back from Barb:

RIBS:

Marinade for beef:

-- 1 small bottle Worcestershire sauce (assume they meant 6-8 ounces)

--1/2 cup wine venegar

--Juice of 2 lemons

--2 bay leaves

--2 garlic cloves, slice

--salt

--pepper

Mix together and marinate ribs, steak or roast for 2 to 3 hours, or overnight.

TANGY BARBEQUE SAUCE

--2 tablespoons butter or margarine

--3 tablespoons chopped onion

--1/2 cup chopped celery

--2 tablespoons granulated sugar

--2 tablespoons vinegar

--1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

--1/4 cup lemon juice

--1 cup catsup

--1 teaspoon dry mustard

--dash of pepper

Melt butter in skillet and cook onion and celery until tender.  Add the remaining ingredients and cook to blend flavors, 15 to 20 minutes. Makes aour 1 2/3 cups.

I poured the sauce in the crock pot, added the marinated beef ribs and slow cooked for 12 hours.
