Stephen M. Irwin's "The Dead Path"

Hi - The beauty of going to the library is that we can take out books we wouldn't ordinarily purchase, and if we do not like it... no harm done. I normally like to take out 3 books at a time, and in desperation the other week, saw this book, and grabbed it....I left it to last, and was really surprised - I loved it... so much so that I have been waking up the last 2 nights at 3 am and have been reading until 6 am! It is finished. I have not read any of Stephen King's books, but the comments were liking this author in the genre of Mr. King...I did not know what to expect..... It is about an evil witch who has crossed the centuries and kills children..... The hero discovers all of this and rather than running away as hhis life is in peril, decides to face her.... It is written well and captivates you from beginning to end.... with a surprising ending... If you see, rent it - you will not be disappointed.  It was written in 2009 and takes place in Australia. Gay    (My cat likes to be everywhere so no 'familiar' just my cat 'Valentine.'
