The Holiday Season is the Best Time to Be a Realtor®
This sounds like something I would say and write. I start the countdown with a Wreath Making Dinner Party and then Christmas Day is a FAST approaching countdown from that point forward.
There is something magical that happens for me when the calendar shifts to December 1st. Even though I have no children, it's tradition to start the countdown the Christmas. The countdown calendar, shaped like a Christmas tree, with its velcro backed ornaments stuffed into pockets numbered 1 to 24, is hung in the kitchen.
With the first "ornament" on the countdown calendar, the Christmas tree up in the family room and the Mistletoe scented candle from Yankee Candles burning, my spirit is given a lift. I may have been worn down to a nub November 30th, but once that calendar starts the countdown to Christmas, I'm rejuvenated.
There is something special about the phrase, "Home for the Holidays" when you're a Realtor®. I know I have the best job in the world, but it's extra special around the holidays. Finding a family a home where they will start their own holiday traditions means so much. Selling a listing that will welcome its new family during the holidays means just as much.
There is no place like home for the holidays. And as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing as great helping a client find that home.
