Things the new generation of networkers say don't work?

This is kind of funny. Everything that the new generation of people say doesn't work, we are doing. We are flat out excited. Some of the things are: home meetings, teaching people to talk to friends, handing out business cards, does some of this sound old? Well all that still works today!!! Here is what I believe, I want to use every avenue to build my business from the internet to having home meetings. Each way is just a tool just like you have a hammer and stuff for building a home. 

Here is what is so powerful about the home meetings. There are bonds there that are built and once that happens, most people won't quit on you in the early stages! People who use the net only and never get to meet the people never really get that bond built! That is what network marketing is all about (Relationships). Without the relationships you eventually have a revolving door business and that just becomes a job then! I thought that is why we are in this, not to have a job?

The reason I am writing this is that I just received a newsletter that said 8 things that are a surefire way to fail in network marketing and we do most of them! I really don't know why people want to take people out of network marketing? Like I said though, I am working getting leads from, the net too just like all the new generation networkers say but adding all the tools that they say don't work.

By the way, what I have found is that most of the people who you get in from the internet who get in wants something for nothing. I have seen it over and over. You have those ads that say do nothing and make money, guess what kind of people you get? The people that think they can get rich off a system without doing 1 ounce of work! Is that really what network marketing has come to? people really dropped their standard that much? I know some people have but I think most are like me. They want to build a solid business with a solid foundation. Well for now, those are my few cents. Until next time.

I love the personal touch and need to get out more often and away from computer projects. Hey, chewing the fat on the front porch still works:-) . I figure there will always be one more thing to do computerwise, so I will reschedule one on one time with the public. Thanks for reminding me. PS: That's when I seem to trip over buyer and seller needs.

Chris & Sandy:  I totally agree with you on this one.  Of course the old ways work - it's the old ways that got everyone to where they are today.  Old ways and new ways shouldn't be at odds.  Use every tool and means available to build a solid business.  Just like you, that's what I mean to do - build a solid, reputable, credible business.  I want to be the "go to" Realtor in my mountains that means hard work
