Our ‘10

We are definitely excited to have the opportunity to write the Anton's Annual Christmas letter. Over the last year and a half with this family, we know one thing, there's always something going on.

It was definitely a difficult start to the year, Nanny fell & fractured her hip the 2nd week of January.  It was especially hard for Daddy because doctors, nurses & most other people were saying that when an older person breaks a hip...well, they're not around much longer. This is what we know, Nanny is not like those other "old people", she's doing great & we just celebrated her 94th birthday this week. The Anton Family

Mommy quit her job as a teacher to take care of Nanny, that made all of us way happy. Uncle Eddie came for 2 days in the Spring & not only did Uncle Eddie teach Daddy how to use a saw & some other tools but they built a deck together...and we all LOVE it!!! Daddy was excited to learn how to use tools, he even built a patio off the deck.  Mommy was really surprised because normally she was the handy-woman.

Ashlyn did great in her 1st dance recital in front of 800+ people, we were all proud of her.  Mociute & Pop-Pop Ivo came to visit...Mociute loves to shop & Pop-Pop loves to cook.

Then our really BIG cousins, Zach & Chase came & we stayed home with Daddy, Nanny & Ashlyn while Mommy joined everyone to go on a big boat & cruise to Mexico & Grand CaymanAshlyn then started Kindergarten & she loves going to school. The only thing she loves more is swimming, she wants to go swimming everyday...and she even beats some of the bigger kids.  Grandma Tucker got a ride from Mr. Herman & came to visit, I wonder if she'll ever get on an airplane?

The most exciting event for our family this year was that God answered Ashlyn's prayer to be a big sister. Ashlyn keeps asking how the doctors are going to get Isabella out of Mommy's tummy. I hope someone figures it out before January 30, 2011 ...that's when the doctors say she is supposed to arrive. God also answered our prayer, to be set free in the river and feast on an endless supply of little fish...we'll never forget our loving family.

Enjoy the Holidays!!!
