Volunteering in the Spirit of Christmas
STUART, FL - December 3, 2010 - Keller Williams of the Treasure Coast answered the call to help Stuart Main Street with the 50th Annual Stuart Christmas Parade with 23 agents working as volunteers throughout the evening, and the Keegan Team was proud to be in charge of coordinating this event for the KW office. What a wonderful evening it was. Really a great way to experience downtown Stuart and kick off the holiday season!!
This parade is one of the last nighttime Christmas parades in the United States, this year's parade was themed "Christmas on Main Street," and kicked off a weekend of holiday celebrations in historic Stuart. The parade started at 7:00, but many were there early to enjoy holiday decorations and events downtown. The streets were filled with people there to enjoy a 50-year Stuart tradition, complete with marching bands, baton twirlers, specialty cars, beautiful floats - and of course Santa Claus! Donations to Toys for Tots were made at downtown drop off locations at Mulligan's Beach House and Matilda's.
