The December Challenges . . . Keeping the Christmas Spirit and Working to Maintain The Business

There was no warning, and it wasn't predicted, but as we got up this morning there was a 2" blanket of snow on the ground.

It's cold enough so that it may well stay around for a while. With Christmas less than 3 weeks away, it just starts the season right.

♫  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in ev'ry store
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door.♫

31 Days of Christmas Challenge

Day 5  Sunday was going to be a relatively calm day. Went to a book signing for a friend's wife and while there was introducedto a couple of their friends. One of them had a friend that was going to start a home search after the first of the year, and my card was requested.  Also I talked to the owner of the book store and will be doing a Localism post shortly.

Day 6: Monday, spent the morning responding to emails and also attended a follow up inspection for one of my clients. Had lunch with a former client that is now a good friend who also has several family members that will be looking for homes next spring.

2 inches, how about 10 inches... snow that is.  More than needed for the rest of the season.

Ed - No snow down here either!  I heard there were a few flakes early this morning but that was about it.  I'm not rushing the season but I do love the first snowfall and would love to see a white Christmas.

George, Litchfield County got the most, they could have had it all

Hey Guys, what's a few inches amongst friends

Donna, I heard the plows early and couldn't believe it as the weather forecast said nothing about snow

Ellen, it's too early for snow

Ed, no snow here in our part of Canada--just a balmy 44 degrees. Sounds like you have a few "irons in the fire". Hope they all work out for you.

We had some flurries here in So. NH, but I refused to "see" them!  I guess winter will be here soon enough.  Boy is it cold!

Ed, Ed, Ed, - PLEASE stop those carols!! They go through my head for the next hour or two, LOL.  As long as everyone's giving a weather report, we don't have any snow here, either - it was only 79 degrees here in Scottsdale!! LOL.

Ted in a previous career we called it keeping the pipeline filled. Anybody in sales knows that whileyou're closing oon your current deal, you need to keep the eyes on the landscape for the next deal.

Joan, for where you live you would probably call our 2 inches a few flurries. When you get snow, you get snow.

Joni, it's all part of the Challenge to get people into the Christmas Spirit, and not just the Spirit of the Holdiays

Juli, Juli, Juli, you're starting to take on the traits of Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, but having a song in your head can't be a bad thing.

About the only way we know that it’s Christmas time here is because everyone puts up Christmas lights. J
