I am very lucky person...and I know it! Today was just another reminder of how when you surround yourself with good people, good things will happen.
My morning started off when I had to make a call that I wasn't really looking forward to. A co-worker listened to me and all my reasons to not call and then told me "go make the call, you'll be glad you did". Of course, she was right! (
A little later a good friend called and asked me for a recommendation for a great property manager here in Fayetteville, NC. You know it, I happen to have one of those! They have already signed their property management agreement and my friend is already happy!
At lunch I met with the professional photographer who did our client appreciation party on Saturday. He put all the photos on a CD so we would be able to send the photos to our clients. He did a great job (as usual). Of course, we will look awesome when we give the photos to our clients.
Then late this evening I get a phone call from one of my contractors. He does work at my home and even my closest friends homes. He recently did a job for a client after I recommended she speak with him. I went over to view the work once it was complete (like new home now) and somehow we got on the subject of decorating. I happened to mention something I have been looking for and tonite, he called to say he found it and was bringing it to me as a Christmas and thank you gift.
Its the small things that make all the difference and today I was lucky enough to be reminded that in Fayetteville, NC I do indeed do business with great people who make me look great because of the awesome work they do! How luck am I....very lucky!
