Homes Don't Sell Around the Holidays? Sure They Do!

By

Some say to take listings off the market during the holidays. I am not one to believe that train of thought. I have sold homes on Thanksgiving and even on the other real popular holiday that is now becoming "politcally incorrect" to mention with the aging, slightly Reubenesque man in the red suit that bring joy to boys and girls all over the world. Sure, it is more work to keep the home in tip top shape and inconvenient for the homeowner to have to show during this time, but, sometimes these holidays are the only time that relocating buyers have to look. I even bought my home during the holidays. What better present is there than that?

I agree. Less homes are on the market, but holiday buyers are most serious.

We have snowbirds coming here so November/December is a great time to sell real estate here!

Pam - I agree with that.

Renee - Buyers seem to be "on a mission" at that time.
