Friends of the Library Kingwood (FOLK)

If you're looking for a little more room in your house & are ready to donate some of your books to do so, then FOLK is a great place to donate those used books.  They are especially looking for non-fiction and children's books for their bookstoare at the Kingwood Branch Library at 4400 Bens View Lane.  

Donations of books to FOLK include the following:

  • Text & Computer Books, 2007 & after
  • All Engineering/Petro/Chemical books
  • Videos
  • DVDs
  • CDs
  • Computer Games
  • Audio Books
  • Software
  • Music Books
  • Sheet Music
  • Comics
  • Complete Puzzles & Records
  • Current Magazines (2010 Only - Although Prior Year Arts/Crafts Magazines are accepted)Books

Susan, That is great; what a wonderful way to get rid of all those extra books. I use to say you can never have too many books but as I have accumulated books over the years my opinion has changed.
