In todays economy, we all should be frugal and watch our pennies. Now we are gearing up for tax time. Will I owe more than my quarterly payments? So I compiled a list (referencing to many articles I have read) of ways to cut back everything just a little to get big returns:
1. Do I really need every channel offered on my satelite TV? Changing your plan downward can save big!
2. Do I need long distance on my home phonne plan-I do have a cell phone!
3. OR--do I need a home phone? I do have a cell phone!
4. Compare your minutes you use monthly to your cell phone plan-and if you are not using those minutes, change plans when your contract is up.
5. Up the deductible on your home and car insurance.
6. Bundle your home and car insurance if you have them with different carriers.
7. Shop around for road side assistance-Did you know Verizon offers it?
8. Shop your local grocery markets on the days they run specials.
8. Clip coupons on-line-there are many coupn sites.
9. Buy in bulk, at Sam's or Costco-be sure to know your prices!
10. Local companies will have certain days they give discounts-for example my hair salon has big discounts on Tuesdays!
Each item may only save a little-but when you add it up, you will save big-I do!!
