Get Your Pet Pictures with Santa at Milford's Complete Petmart December 11 & 12 2010
Do you have that annual tradition of getting your pet pictures taken with Fluffy the Pomeranian or Paisley the Persian?
How'd you like to get your pet's picture taken with Santa AND benefit a worthwhile charity?
Here's your chance! The Complete Petmart in Milford (in front of the Kroger on SR 28 just past where the bypass joins: 1087 State Route 28, Milford, OH 45150-2197) will be hosting a Pet Pictures with Santa this Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.
A donation of $10 gets the picture with Santa, and with ALL proceeds benefiting Circle Tail, Inc.!
Haven't heard of Circle Tail? Well, they're a fantastic LOCAL non-profit organization that provides service dogs and hearing dogs to people with disabilities! How COOL is that! Click Circle Tail to go to their official site and learn more about them!
Happy Holidays!
Liz & Bill aka BLiz
BLiz - What a great opportunity to not only get another pic of the fur babies (because I know we all have sooo many pics of the fur babies) but to also help fur babies without a forever home. Hubby and I did this a few years ago and I think it's time we do it again. You've inspired me to do a hyper-local post on this as well. Have a good day BLiz. :)
Excellent hyper-local post BLiz! Makes you wonder how many locals will get a pet for Christmas because they first read your blog and decided to take action.
That sounds wonderful...Circle Tail sounds like a great organization...When I worked as a vet nurse (in my previous life), I had the pleasure of knowing many service animals and their people! It's amazing the bond between them, and they help each other sooooo much!
Santa would probably run if he saw me coming with my five cats and one crazy dog :-) We tried for years to get a family photo with all nine of us...It never worked out!
Donne, I didn't specifically mention it, but Circle Tail also does placement for adoptions, obedience training and a few other things! All our dogs have always been purebred (although currently dogless), but you know the story on our herd of cats...they found us and adopted us! :)
Anita, We've got another one to do later that may contribute to those odds of pet adoption!
Amy, We've heard of them before. This one is one of those "accidental" posts. A co-worker mentioned he'd be working the event this weekend, so offered to do a post to hopefully help get them a few more visitors! Let's put Active Rain to work! :) Liz used to be a vet assistant too a long time ago in a land far away :)
And you know the solution to your pet photo issue! Craig or Michael can take care of that for you with a little 'puter magic!
What an excellent organization and an excellent cause. It's really so rewarding to know your dollars are going to stay within your own community as well.
Tish, Especially a case like this where you know it's 100%. Circle Tail also runs a programs with the area Correctional Facilities for them to train and socialize the dogs. We've seen similar programs on TV and they are generally portrayed as very successful in helping the inmates and the pets.
