Cashing my $10,675 Check From My Junk Mail....Another Active Rain Success Story
Karen's post should be a heads up for all of us to make it a habit of checking our junk mail folders and any other places (like other email addresses) to be sure we don't miss a major lead put into in a secondary mailbox.
The $10,675 check should be enough to get our attention.
Thanks Karen.
I would really like to know why this came from my junk mail (Active Rain?) but I'd like to share my "Yippee"!
A mere month and a half ago, I thought to check my junk mail to make sure I hadn't missed anything....and there it was, a contact from my Active Rain site with an investor asking questions.
Again....why was that in my junk mail?
I didn't make it a habit of checking my junk mail, needless-to-say I do now. But it was someone who had read a few of my posts and saw a listing of mine and wanted to reach out.
I hate it when I have to start a response with "I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond....but you were in my junk mail folder." I'm sure that makes them feel so special :) but he didn't hold it against me. We began to look at potential homes for his first investment purchase and last week we closed escrow. In fact, this coming weekend, his first tenant moves in...another lead from the Internet.
The moral of this story....check your junk mail and keep on blogging in the Rain.
