I Wuv Oooo
As I left this morning to begin my day in the real estate world I kissed my 18 month old granddaughter and said "I love you."
She repeated," I Wuv Oooo." If you are a grandpa you know what happened next. My heart melted! Caroline has big blue eyes, blond curly hair, big red lips and an angelic voice that makes me crumble. Just looking at her is enough to cause me to want to pick her up and give her hugs and kisses. Now that she has added "I Wuv Ooo" to her lexicon I will never be able to resist her "Bawpa" pleas.
"Bawpa" for grandpa, was her first word several months ago. When she knows I am home if I am downstairs working in my office she will start shouting "Bawpa." Of course I cannot resist that precious little voice very long. When I come up the stairs she shouts "Bawpa?" as if she is so surprised to see me. I don't remember my own children having such an amazing gift of persuasion.
I forced myself to leave but Caroline knew she had found a new hot button. She continued to repeat "I Wuv Ooo." I hurried downstairs and packed up quickly to work at my Rector Hayden office.
I am going to get things done as quickly as possible today so that I can have at least an hour or so to enjoy Caroline before my daughter picks her up.
It is my hope and prayer for all of you who read this blog that you will have an "I Wuv Ooo" experience this Holiday season.
