New Brewery Opens in Toledo, Ohio

Attention all you beer afficiandos! I am pleased to announce that Great Black Swamp Brewing Co, LLC, located on Monroe Street, in Toledo, Ohio is officially open for business.

The brewery will be offering several styles of beer in kegs for wholesale distribution. The styles will include Bullfrog Stout, Mosquito Red, Sandpiper Golden Ale, Wild Duck IPA and Bayfront Pale Ale. It is currently on tap at Miss Cue Sports Cafe, located at 1720 S. Reynolds Road, Toledo, OH 43614. Great place to order a cold Sandpiper Golden Ale and enjoy one of the 22 pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, air hockey, Golden Tee Live 2009, Silver Strike, various video and redemption games and a digital downloading juke box. They also have several TV's showing your favorite games.

Look for it at your local tavern, pizzeria or restaurant soon or ask your favorite bartender to contact Great Black Swamp Brewing Company about getting your favorite style on tap.

Hi Bob, glad to see that someone has been reading my blogs. I always like to support local companies whenever possible. Toledo, Ohio is a great place to live in my opinion. There is so much to do and see, as well as being steeped in history. I have enjoyed the Mosquito Red and Sand Piper Golden Ale made by the Great Black Swamp Brewing Co., so far and am looking forward to trying their Wild Duck IPA and Bull Frog Stout. I understand from the owners that they have their website up and running at www.greatblackswampbrewing.com that will provide you will some information about the brewmasters and where to find their beer currently. I know the owners to be a couple of ambitious fellas that will hopefully find their fine brews available all over Toledo soon. How was the pizza?
