The December Challenges . . . Keeping the Christmas Spirit and Working to Maintain The Business
As I was driving by St Anthony's Church in the center of Prospect CT this afternoon, I saw some people setting up the creche and the lights on the trees that surround the scene.
I chatted with them briefly, and waited for them to finish some of the work.
I stepped back to take the overall photo of the creche, which was made a bit more realistic with the residual snow still on the ground from earlier in the week.
This scene will remain like this until midnight mass on Dec 24, after which a precession will be held to bring the Christ child to the manger.
♫Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.
The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. ♫
Christmas is the birth of Christ in the christian faiths. X is just the letter that precedes Y in the alphabet.
31 Days of Christmas Challenge
Day 11: The day started out with an email from someone that had just logged onto my IDX site and left the following message: I've made various attempts to have an agent set up and apt to view a listing in Waterbury CT. I am a cash buyer, I'd like to see this house this weekend. Please help me. As the properties were all vacant foreclosures we saw a total of 4 and they will be back on Monday to write up an offer.
In the evening, we attended a Christmas Party and during the evening the host walked over with someone and introduced them to me, and me to them as 'This is the real estate agent that can help you". I had a good day!
