Way to go Brookwood Broncos! Not only does Brookwood have the best SAT scores in Gwinnett, but they are now state football champions.
Brookwood won 52-38 over Colquitt County in a game that saw nearly 1000 yards of offense. Both teams were very impressive. Turn overs turned out to be key, with Brookwood getting some key interceptions at crucial times in the game.
Coach Crews, on staff during their 1996 championship run, cited the community and school as some of the major reasons that the year was so successful. He said his team has been working at this since last December. The humble coach acknowledged his teams hard work and the leadership displayed among one another.
