The Bull Run Regional Park feature a 2.5 mile drive through holiday light show with Christmas treats of penguins, snowmen, deer, Santa’s workshop, Frosty the Snowman, elves, candy canes and most especially Santa! Over 40,000 music animated lights will be showcased including the Winter Wonderland Holiday Village complete with an ice skating rink and rides. The Bull Run Festival of Lights also offers entertainment, shopping, contests, a variety of food and fun for everyone wishing to participate in the holiday festivities. Sounds like a lot of fun. The only thing we have that is similar is the Holiday Lights at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, but all you do is drive through and look at the lighting displays. Takes about 20 minutes but costs about $15 per car. After that, I guess you go back home. I haven’t been in over a decade.
